Executive Committee Meeting
Hi All,
Executive Committee Meeting held on 29-08-10 at New Delhi.Members of Indian Railway Pharmacist Association from all the zones participated in the meeting.General Secretary Shri.L.S.Chandel inaugrated the meeting.Everyone congrate to Mr.Chandel for his hard and fruitfull work due to which we achive the G.P. of Rs.4200.The effort of M.Revathi of S.C.Railway can not be forgated.
Main Issue Disused:
1-Implementation of Fast track Committee Report.2-Patient Care Allowance.
3-Ammendment of Education Regulation by Pharmacy council of India.
4-Non Practice Allowance
5-Annual Contribution.
6-Biannual General Meeting.
7-Introduction of Bachelor Of Pharmacy(+ Pr.) by P.C.I.
8-Work load on Pharmacist.
9-Miscelaneous
Smt. M.Revathi(S.C.R.),Sri.S.R.Shome(N.F.R),Sri.G.Babu(S.R.),Sri.Jaipal Singh Jangid,Sri.H.R.Patra(E.Co.R),Sri.A.N.Mishra(N.C.R.),Sr.R.S.Tomar (N.E.R.),Sri.Sandeep Chaurasia(N.E.R.) actively participated in the discus and gave there valuable suggestion.
I am thankful to mr Chandel for providing better hospitality to the members.

Revised pay Structure Of Pharmacist,Clarification,Railway Board

Attention is invited to Railway Board’s letter of even number dated 30.O3.2010 on the above subject.
2. As per para 2 of Board’s letter dated 30.03.2010 Pharmacist Grade-II and Grade I will be merged and designated as Pharmacist (non- functional grade) in PB 2 with grade pay of Rs.4200/- and the grade will be granted to Pharmacist (entry grade) on non-functional basis after 2 years of regular service in the grade pay of Rs.2800. In view of this, the word ‘promotion’ appearing in para 3 of the letter may be read as ‘placement’. Such placement will, however, be subject to vigilance clearance.
3. This issues in consultation with Establishment and Health Directorates and concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.

Subject:-Revised pay structure of the Pharmacists Cadre.
While approving the Report of the Sixth Central Pay Commission, the Government referred the matter related to the pay scale of Pharmacists to a Fast Track Committee.
2. Based on the decision of the Government, on the recommendations of the Fast Track Committee, Ministry of Railways with the approval of the President have decided the following pay structure for the posts of Pharmacists cadre on the Railways w.e.f. 1.1.2006:-

Grade Pay of 4200 in PB-2
Pharmacist Gr.II and I will be merged and designated as Pharmacist (Non-Functional Grade.) This grade to be granted to Pharmacist (Entry Grade) on non-functional basis after 2 years of service in the grade pay of Rs.2800
3. Consequent upon the implementation of the above pay structure, promotion from Pharmacist (Entry Grade) to the next higher grade of Pharmacist (Non-functional Grade) having grade pay of Rs.4200 will be delinked from vacancies and will become non-functional and time-bound.
4. The posts of Chief Pharmacist in the pre-revised scale of Rs.6500-10500 will be placed in Grade Pay Rs.4600 in terms of Board’s letter NO.PC VI / 2009 / 1 / RSRP / 8 dated 22.12.2009. Further, as stipulated in note 2 under schedule circulated vide Annexure ‘B”‘ of Board’s letter NO.PC-VI / 2008 / 1 / RSRP / 1 dated 11.09.2008 in case a post already existed in the pre-revised scale of Rs.7450-11500, the posts being upgraded from the scale of Rs.6500-10500 should be merged with the post in the scale of Rs.7450-11500.
5. This issues in consultation with Establishment, Management Services and Health Directorates and concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
