Grivances of Pharmacist Cadre to AIRF

To,                                                                                                                                                   dt: 31-07-2014

          The General Secretary

             AIRF, NEW DELHI.

Sub:   In justice in pay grade of pharmacist category in memorandum submitted by AIRF to VII th CPC       reg.

Respected Sir,

We are thankful to GENERAL SECRETARY honorable Shri Gopal ji Mishra to represent our grievances to the VIII TH CPC, as we have requested in our memorandum submitted to AIRF.

But we hereby draw your kind attention to:

(i)                  The entry grade pay 2800/- shown in the memorandums, which have already been merged within grade pay 4200/-by restructuring committee of Rly Board. So GP 2800/-in our case have been passed away.

(ii)                When the 6th CPC has been given our entry grade pay of 2800/- by which serious anomaly arises and same was represented by the Federation in Fast Track Committee, then it was decided that GP. 2800/- will be replaced with GP.4200/- after completion of two years.

(iii)               It is also submitted that after implementation of MACP pharmacist are deprived of GP 5400/-, as entry grade pay 2800/- replaced by 4200/- is treated as one promotion.

(iv)              In the memorandum Existing & Proposed pay scales should be recommended as:

S.No.
Designation
Grade pay
Designation
Minimum of the proposed pay scale
1.
Pharmacist
PB-I + GP 4200/-
Pharmacist
56000/-
2.
Pharmacist -II
PB-II + GP 4600/-
Sr.Pharmacist
74000/-
3.
Pharmacist-I
PB-II + GP 4600/-
Chief Pharmacist
78000/-
4.
Assistant Pharmacy officer
PB-III + GP 5400/-
Assistant Pharmacy officer
1,02,000/-
5.
Not existing in
Railway
15600-39100+GP 6600/-
Divisional Pharmacy Officer
accordingly
6.
Not existing in
Railway
15600-39100+GP 7600/-
Deputy Director, Pharmacy
accordingly
7.
Not existing in
Railway
15600-39100+GP 8700/-
Director of  Pharmacy
accordingly

As comparing pay scales and promotional avenues of Pharmacist working in Central Govt. Organization with pay scales of mentioned state govt., the pay scales are far behind than state govt.i.e. UP & UK and promotional channel are almost nil. This disparity has created frustration among all Pharmacist community. So the above pay grade and channel of promotion should be recommended.

(v)                Additional increment should be demanded for the pharmacist having higher qualification as:

A)     Two additional increment s should be given to pharmacist having degree in pharmacy

B)       Three additional increments should be given to the pharmacist having Master of Pharmacy.  Since higher qualification is beneficial to the health care of patients  with the ideas to meet the skills requiring for caring the patients in Railway Hospital in view of improved activities in developing health care system for giving safe and effective care to the health of its patients.

So we all Pharmacist humbly request you for amendment in Grade          Pay given  by AIRF  to The 7TH CPC and please represent our case by treating  GP 4200/- at Entry level  instead of  GP 2800/- .

                                                                              Thanking you.

                                                                                                                                   Your’s Faithfully,

                                                                                                                                     All Pharmacists

                                                                                                                             NW RLY Ajmer Division.
