Maha Rally Delhi Chalo Pharmacist At Jantar Mantar,New Delhi on 17 Dec.12

Dear Pharmacist's Fellow,
As you aware that Pharmacist's working in Health care establishments in the country are one of the most deprived category among all health personel's.They have been ignored all the timeat all level by the Goverment and had to fight relentlessly for grant of parity with other paramedical category,even though no rlief has been granted to us till date.
in view of the disparity by the Government done with the Pharmacist and pending demands with the Goverment, a meeting  was held on 09th sept,2012 in Kanpur and it was decided by the Central Exutive Body (FIPO) to hold a Demonstration/ Protest at Jantar Mantar and take a march to the Parliament ,New Delhi on 17 december 2012 at 02:00 pm.
Therefore,All the Pharmacist's brethen and the member's of all Pharmacist's Association in India including Railway,States,and the Pharmacists of all the ministries member's of the FIPO are requested to attend this all india Demonstration/ Protest at Jantar mantar,New Delhi on 17 December 2012 at 02:00pm.
CHARTER OF DEMAND:
(1) Change in Recruitment Rule(Minimum qualification for practice of pharmacy should be B.Pharm.
(2) Removal of two years service condition.
(3) Well defined promotional hierarchy for the Pharmacist including Gazetted post on first promotion.
(4) Grant of Non-Practicing allowance(NPA).

Risk Allowance,HPCA and PCA Doubled


Cabinet approved the hike in Risk Allowance, Hospital Patent Care Allowance and Patient Care Allowance

The Cabinet today approved revision of rates of Risk Allowance. Hospital Patient Care Allowance and Patient Care Allowance payable to about two lakh entitled Central Government employees to double the existing rates with effect from 1s’ September, 2008.
The proposed revision in the rates of the Risk Allowance, Hospital Patent Care Allowance and Patient Care Allowance will provide succor to the employees at risk due to the nature of their duties. It will also result in considerable financial savings as compared to the Risk Insurance Schemes/Packages.
The financial implication of doubling the extant rate of Risk Allowance, Hospital Patient Care Allowance and Patient Care Allowance would be Rs.42.16 crore per annum, as against Rs.503.26 crore plus service tax (approximately) {Rs.40.50 crore plus service tax per annum for insurance policy and Rs.462.76 crore plus service tax for purchase of annuity} for implementing the Risk Insurance package.
The amount of Risk Allowance, Hospital Patient Care Allowance and Patient Care Allowance would be automatically raised by 25 per cent every time the Dearness Allowance on the revised pay structure goes up by 50 per cent. The proposed revision in the rates of Risk Allowance, Hospital Patient Care Allowance and Patient Care Allowance will benefit certain categories of Central Government employees engaged in duties involving special risks.
